In this lesson I covered the style of 40 power metal bands in one song.

Inspired by Scandinavian bands like Nightwish, Sonata Arctica and Hans Zimmer music.

This part is fairly easy from a technical view, but from an expression point of view it is not so easy. It is difficult to play this piece with taste, since only the bass notes are playing the notes in exact tempo, while the solo line varies in tempo a lot. This technique in classical music is called rubato.

We are focusing on some Metal's sub-genres. This time we'll spend some time on Power Metal!

In this part we will be using the following techniques: 2 string Sweeping, Power Chords, Galloping, Palm Muting, Slides and Vibrato.
